The Frank MAKO board, designed by Francesco Maffei on Maui, is the result of extensive testing and numerous design improvements. The goal was to create the most user-friendly and high-performance Downwind SUP on the market.

Some key details that set these boards apart from others are a revolutionary rocker line that increases the board's speed and facilitates smooth starts from the water's surface. The combination of the rocker line and the rail design makes the board extremely stable, allowing for a narrower board for increased speed. The bottom construction increases acceleration and maintains stability at high speeds.

The board also has a flat deck design for comfort and flexibility on long rides, and the volume is concentrated in the middle for a balanced feel. It is built with full carbon fiber construction for maximum stiffness and performance.

MAKO boards come with a custom board bag for the best protection on the way to and from the beach.
