Simmer Windsurfing Sail Black Tip 2025

For 2025, the focus has been on giving Marc Paré exactly what he wants out of the Blacktip sail in his quest to become Wave World Champion. Marc's requirements with the new design were that the sails should be easier to handle, have an even wider wind range, be equally well-balanced and provide more forward thrust. In the larger sizes, maneuverability has improved significantly when the boom length has been shortened and the mast has become longer. They have simply been given a higher AR number. Which can be especially good if you need a little help with the rotation in the second turn when pulling off a double forward loop or some other spectacular trick with a sail in sizes over 5 sq m. Then the smaller sizes have been changed in the other direction so that they have a lower AR number with a longer boom. This is to improve the performance of the sail over a larger wind range in the most extreme conditions. The new Blacktip sail has more forward thrust and less backhand pressure, among other things by increasing the distance between the two bottom battens and adding a little more vertical shape to the sail. This design change creates more thrust when you accelerate into powerful turns and charges the sail with power that you can then unleash in the next maneuver. With the new design of the Blacktip 2025, it is about 6% lighter than the same sail from 2024. It is at least as user-friendly as before, if not more. A really nice wave sail for all conditions!
