New for 2025 is this model of Combat which is the same sail as Combat HD but with a completely clear window without X-ply. In many places around the world it can be a bit difficult to see well through the window when it is reinforced with X-ply, especially late afternoons when the sun is low. Otherwise it is the same sail. Neilpryde's all-round wave sail Combat which for 2024 received a completely new design with, among other things, a longer mast, shorter boom and a completely new panel layout. All new Combat regardless of construction became significantly lighter and Combat weighs just like Combat HD a few hundred grams less than the top model Combat Pro from 2023. Combat has x-ply in the entire sail except for the window so it should withstand even the toughest treatment with a long lifespan. The Combat sail is the obvious choice for Neilpryde's PWA sailors and is their best-selling wave sail. It is designed to deliver maximum performance in all types of conditions around the world. It is a soft and comfortable sail with very good bottom draft that is easy in the hand without either backhand pressure or belly roll while delivering power when you need it over a wide range of wind.
