Neilpryde's Fusion HD is a five-batten freeride sail with very nice features that lies between the wave sail Atlas and the more speed-oriented freeride sail Ryde. The Fusion HD is made entirely of X-ply from the middle of the sail for best durability and longer life. It has a longer boom, larger sail foot and deeper standing profile than the Atlas, but compared to the six-batten Ryde, it has a smaller sail foot to give it better maneuverability and be easier to sail. New this year is that all battens are now completely centered in the sail in the same way as in older models of the more exclusive Speedster and V8. This upgrade has been made to ensure that the sail has the same nice profile in all winds regardless of which bow you sail. In addition to being very easy to rig, it has good bottom draft, speed resources that you can't complain about and maneuvering characteristics like a larger wave sail. Rigged correctly, it is a stable sail with a standing shape in the lower part that in addition to speed and drive also gives you better control over the board when the wind is a little stronger.
