Freeride/Starter boards

Here you will find the boards that make it easy to get started with windsurfing. These boards are stable and have plenty of volume so that you can easily find your balance and develop your sailing. With these boards you will learn modern windsurfing at planing speed and full-speed gybes.

A starter and beginner board should have a centerboard. This provides extra stability and allows you to cruise against the wind even in light wind. A starter/beginner board is usually covered with EVA on the deck (like a sleeping pad), this is comfortable to stand on and you avoid chafing/torn wetsuit when you crawl onto the board after you have fallen off.
